Hey there guys! Glad to know you came by and stop. ^_^ Then, I guess this will by my first story to tell. don’t get me wrong, I’m not going to tell about trees and stuffs. Well here, you’re gonna meet where I came from (biologically). Meet my family!Yay!
I’ve never tried in my whole life to introduce my family in this kind of way. But since, this blog here, is going to discuss mainly how I became me, then family is one way. When I talk about family, that would be my father, mother and siblings. Its not the typical thing you see on blogs when they talk about their family. 🙂 I’m single, still available. Haven’t been dated like for (counting..)  6 (SIX) years maybe. Quite long ago huh. But of course along the way I have bump into a number of guys. 😉 Moving forward, so that’s how I get to tell the a story about my head family.
So, first stop. Meet my father. Alfredo Javier. Â Some, if not most, Â tell me that I do look more like him, and I take that as a compliment. He’s a musician and say artist too. He plays the guitar, base and keyboard. He sings as well. Artist because he’s good at drawings and lettering. I can still remember how he makes my drawing projects back when I was in elementary and he also does the lettering for the cover page. Currently he’s working abroad, in Ethiopia. So that might figure why he’s with some native Afros (or whatever you call them) in the picture. He’s been there like for more than a year. His last visit was I guess a few months ago, Â after a year in his work. By the way, he’s a teacher in a technical school there.
Then my mother, Jiva Javier.  Basically I’m not a “Mama’s girl”. That I can’t explain why. I can do tell that I’m a “Papa’s girl” when I was still a squirt. My mother is one of those I guess typical mother you’ll know. She also sings (we really are family exposed to music, figures how I love music that much). A brainy type of mom. When I was younger, they would tell me that my brainy side was because of her. Genes. And again, I’m taking that as a compliment (though never did have a study moment with her, did ask some questions but not study). She’s a teacher, elementary. Indeed, brainy.  That has been her profession since she graduated. Not the same case with my father though, but good luck still comes even its later than when you wanted it badly.
Jiva
Now meet my younger sisters and our youngest, a brother. Rhena, Fredjie, and Jr (that’s Alfredo Jr.).
(from left to right) Rhena, Fredjie, Jr
Rhena. She’s a year younger than me. And just graduated from her college degree. She’s now on a review for her licensure  examination for teachers. Yes, a teacher. The funny thing i always remember about her and me is that, we grew up – like until 12 years old maybe – where we have the same outfits, like twins! Just with the different color of course. Funny right? And cute of course. We have a lot of photos with those one. 🙂
Fredjie. Six years younger than me. The girly girl of the family. Guess never spent a lot of time with this sister of mine. all I remember was when she was still a bay, she got sick when we got separated for days. We were on a vacation, with Rhena on our grandmothers place for maybe a week. So far that’s all I can remember about this lady. To think she’ll be turning 18 , like in less than a year from now. Freaks me out as an older sister.
Jr. The youngest. And the last. 9 years younger than me. So we were all 3 girls back then and my parents wanted a boy for the family, to carry the family name of course. My mom decided that the fourth should be the last one, whether a girl or a boy (but of course they were hoping that its a boy and its a BOY indeed!) He’s the smartest among us – smarter than ME! (would you believe that? 😉 I was once the smartest in the family. LOL!) Took on quiz bees and science fairs in the country. And saves money with the prizes. Awesome right? never did I get to a quiz bee before. I get nauseous (haha!pathetic!)
Well, as the oldest of this ladies and a gentlemen, i’m definitely proud of them. Still a long way for me and for them. And as you can see we don’t have a good family picture. We had once, long time ago, when there were just the four of us. May be the family went distant as time passes, as I grew older, as I started to look on to other trees beside us. Sad but true. Trees sometimes wither, but will eventually grew bountiful again someday.
So, that’s our tree and its fruits. How about you? How did your tree grew? How does it look like? 🙂
